About

Built Different. Unapologetically You.
Sawdust and Ponytail's, is here for the women who'd rather build it than buy it—the ones who eyeball measurements, trust their gut, and make shit work with whatever's in the shop.
This isn't about perfect dovetails or Instagram-worthy finishes. It's about giving yourself permission to start, screw up, learn something, and build it again. Better this time. Or at least finished.
Our gear is cheeky, confident, and designed for real makers doing real work—because you deserve apparel that's as bold and capable as you are.
So grab your tools, tell the doubt to sit down, and let's build something.
The Work That Keeps Me Steady
Woodworking didn't start as a business idea. It started as survival.
In sobriety, you swap what numbs you for something that grounds you. For me? The shop. Measuring twice. Cutting once (mostly). Slowing down enough to focus.
You can't rush a miter joint. You can't bullshit your way through. You show up, pay attention, follow through—or the project tells on you real quick. That discipline became therapy long before it became a brand.
Built With Hands. Rooted in Loss.
My dad died when I was 13. Every time I pick up a tool, I'm reclaiming a piece of what I didn't get to learn from him.
I like to think he'd be proud. Not just of what I'm making, but that I kept going. That I built something solid with my own two hands—even when I had no idea what the hell I was doing.
Women Belong in the Shop. Always Have.
Women have always built, fixed, measured, and created. Our designs aren't about proving anything—they're about ownership. Wearing your title without explanation. Showing up exactly as you are and doing the work anyway.
This Is More Than Apparel
It's about choosing craft over chaos. Focus over escape. Building something instead of breaking down.
If the shop is your therapy, your grounding place, or your way forward—you belong here.
Welcome to the workshop.
